Just a thought. Most people are misunderstanding the meeting between Putin and Netanyahu in Moscow on May 10, the day that Israel launched a premeditated attack on Iranian and Syrian army installations inside of Syria. Obviously, this attack was planned well before May 10, so what was Netanyaho doing in Moscow: plausible deniability and damage control. Netanyahu knew beforehand that an attack would take place. After the attack, he claimed, falsely, that Iran and Syria had attacked Israel and Israel was responding. This he guessed would ameliorate Moscows response. After the missile attack, which was largely blocked, Iran and Syria responded by firing missiles into the west bank, hitting Israel military installations. This was a game changer which Israel did not expect and hoped to avoid. Iran and Syria would never have fired missiles into the west bank, hitting military installations, without Russia's approval. Israel was using the west bank to supply equipment to the terrorists and this was a clear warning- stop, or else. Worse yet for Israel, the strikes were accurate and most escaped Israels air defenses. Now with Turkey controlling the north and Israel on it's way out, the American and NATO forces in North East Syria are surrounded. As thy say, Karma, payback is a bit-h! Trump had done Israel no favor.
